BLACK HOLE

The Process of creating BLACK HOLE began in 2017. From the beginning the material was fragmented and disjointed. The company dismantled information around the idea of the black hole and what scientists think/know they do. The performance now sits far removed from the initial research but has glimpses that can be related to space, stars and the idea of the origin of time. This allows an audience the chance to experience a representation of a black hole, something they have never witnessed and will never witness again.

Like multiple stars collapsing at once, shifting and changing the laws of physics right in front of you. BLACK HOLE takes you to outer space, offering you a taste of something far out of reach, but that feels so close. Planetary movements are presented to the audience but pulled out of context, creating a new way to look at the universe and the idea of life itself. The question is, who is in the dark? Don't let the name fool you… BLACK HOLE is anything but empty space.
