DEAD PIG Events and Seasonal Styling is based in the North West, UK. Supplying tailored Events, including themed club nights, competitions and parties as well as providing bespoke seasonal styling for companies including Christmas, Halloween and Valentines displays. The main company consists of Head Visual Merchandiser, Mark Powell, along with Assisitant Visual Merchandiser Chantelle Thomson, assistants George Smith and Celine Kutevu,
along with DEAD PIG Head Technician Cory Duffill.
Since 2017, the team have worked on projects with clients including Manchester Metropolitan University,
(The Worlds) Liverpool's Famous Grotto and Junkyard Golf Club.

CHRISTMAS GROTTO
LIVERPOOL'S FAMOUS GROTTO, LIVERPOOL, UK.
In 2018, members of the team, Mark and Chantelle, worked on the installation of 'Liverpools Famous Grotto', (Now the World's Famous Grotto), Located in St. Johns Shopping Centre and Market, Liverpool, UK. The grotto, which now holds The Guinness World Records for the Longest Running Christmas Grotto in operation, at 140 years, was originally based in Lewis's Department Store in Liverpool, before it moved to Rapid Hardware Store in 2010 after the closure of Lewis's. in 2017, the future of the Grotto was uncertain after Rapid announced they would be closing their City Centre store and after months of negotiations, the Grotto was finally saved by entrepreneur, Guy Fennell, and would be moved to its now home, St. Johns Shopping Centre and Market. After a successful run in 2017, the Grotto returned to St. Johns, where the process of designing 2018's attraction began in October of that year. With less than a month to open, the creation of mood boards and floor plans where made, working closely with management to provide a bespoke magical experience. From concept to creation, Mark and Chantelle designed and build the Grotto with in a 10 day turn around, opening to a successful 6 week run, with positive reviews and feedback from customers.
VALENTINES
JUNKYARD GOLF CLUB,
LIVERPOOL, UK.
In 2020, Mark designed the installation of Junkyard Golf Club's 'Valentines' weekend celebrations, located in Liverpool ONE Shopping Centre, Liverpool, UK. The event was attended by over 2500 guests, with Live hula hoop performers, DJ's and themed cocktails. The company also donated all of their online ticket proceeds to their chosen charity, Love Support Unite. The installation which took one whole day to complete ,was created with decorations supplied by the company. The design consisted on working with Foil Curtains, Helium balloons and themed props, using existing hardware and fixtures to provide the company with a themed venue that remained on brand.
CREWEPAUL'S DRAG RACE/ THE BIG GAY NIGHT OUT/
BOOZY BINGO/ TIKI NIGHT/ MMUCARBOOTY

CHESHIRE CAMPUS, CREWE, UK.
In 2017-2018, The team worked closely with Manchester Metropolitan University, designing bespoke student events for their Cheshire campus. The diverse programme of events included, Crewepaul's Drag Race, The BIG Gay Night Out, Boozy Bingo, Tiki Night and The MMUCarbooty. The company went on to win best student event for their Crewepaul's Event, at the Cheshire Awards held by the University. The process of creating the event began two months prior to the event taking place. This included a funding application being accepted in order to hold the successful evening. Whilst raising money for LGBT+ Charity Stonewall, we where also able to show case our event skills, stage managing, producing and designing the whole running and concept of the show, Including working with Celebrity guest judge, Big Brother UK's Nikki Grahame.
